No Phillips 72-Hour Release List
The Phillips County Sheriff's Office provides an Inmate Roster for current listings. Its embedded PlutoSites interface had no 72-hour option, released-status filter, release date, or historical archive when examined on July 18, 2026. Calling that table a rolling three-day release list would turn current-custody data into a claim it cannot support.
A three-day inquiry remains possible, but it is a records task rather than a feed search. Define the start and end of the period, identify the person or booking episode, and ask the sheriff for the existing release entry. Then read the related court docket or receiving-agency record to learn whether county custody ended in a community release or a transfer.
Check Phillips 72-Hour Releases
Use calendar dates and times rather than asking for “the last three days” without a reference point. A clear range avoids doubt about partial days and gives the custodian a defined search period. If the question concerns one person, include a full name, date of birth if known, and an arrest or booking date.
- Record the exact three-day period and the time the search begins.
- Check the current roster only to learn whether the person is shown now. Do not infer a past release from absence.
- Contact Phillips County Jail at 785-543-6885 and ask whether the booking episode ended in release or transfer.
- Request the maintained booking and release entry for the defined range, including release date and time and receiving agency if available.
- Search the Kansas court portal for the order or disposition tied to the custody change.
- When transfer to state custody is possible, search KASPER and read the status before treating the person as free.
For a same-day event with a known date, the Phillips County 24-hour release check gives the narrower process. Neither page represents the live roster as a release feed.
Phillips 72-Hour Record Fields
There are no public Phillips County 72-hour list fields because the list itself is absent. The records request should seek fields that can reconstruct each jail exit within the chosen span. Ask only for items that exist in the Sheriff's Office records, and allow the custodian to state what is maintained and public.
| Field to request | Use in a three-day review |
|---|---|
| Full booked name and aliases | Separates people with similar names. |
| Booking or arrest number | Links documents to one custody episode, if maintained. |
| Booking date and time | Shows when the county jail event began. |
| Release date and time | Places the exit inside or outside the defined window. |
| Release or disposition code | May identify bond, time served, transfer, or another recorded result. |
| Receiving agency or destination | Separates transfer from release to the community. |
| Bond information | Connects an applicable bond event to the jail record. |
| Court case or warrant number | Provides a path to the legal docket, if public and maintained. |
Use wording such as “Please provide the existing booking and release entry, including any maintained release date, release time, disposition code, and receiving agency.” Phillips County publishes no special release-log form or sheriff fee schedule. Ask for a cost estimate if the scope could require staff time or copies.
Phillips Weekend Release Reconstruction
A 72-hour window often matters because a single check may span days when offices or courts operate on different schedules. Phillips County research found no official rule on when the roster removes a released row. It also found no public release hours, exit location, property process, or transport details. None of those facts should be guessed from the day of the week.
The event dates must come from maintained records. A sheriff release time answers when physical county custody ended. A court entry answers what order or case event supported the change. If the jail entry identifies a transfer, the receiving agency must be checked, even when the county row disappeared during the weekend.
KASPER can help after a transfer into KDOC, but it is not instant. KDOC says KASPER updates daily except weekends, while its disclaimer describes working-day updates. A delayed state entry and a removed county row can create a temporary gap. Call both custodians when the precise handoff matters.
Note: A three-day range is a request boundary, not proof that Phillips County publishes or retains a rolling three-day public view.
Phillips Three-Day Fallback Chain
The direct custodian is the Phillips County Sheriff's Office at 301 State Street, Suite G, Phillipsburg, KS 67661. A written request should name the existing record, give the detention range, state the preferred format, and set a fee limit if needed. K.S.A. 45-218 requires an explanation within three business days when immediate access cannot be granted, not automatic production of every record within that period.
Kansas VINELink covers participating county-jail custody and notifications. It does not provide a public, browseable Phillips County three-day list, and Kansas VINE does not include KDOC state-prison offenders. For state custody or post-incarceration supervision, KASPER is the separate channel.
The court record remains essential. A bond order, dismissal, sentence, probation order, commitment, or revocation can explain the legal reason for a change, yet it may not show the exact jail-door time. Pair it with the sheriff entry. For a named-person review that also includes federal and immigration paths, use the Phillips County released inmate lookup.
Other systems answer narrower questions. The federal Bureau of Prisons locator applies to federal custody, not a Phillips County jail stay. ICE's locator applies to immigration custody and has its own public limits. A federal or immigration result should be consulted only when the sheriff record, court docket, or other reliable information points to that jurisdiction. The KBI registered-offender search is also not a general release list and does not establish a jail exit date.
Phillips Roster Retention Is Unknown
The public table contains age, sex, race, name, arrest date, book date, charges, bond, bond type, and a mugshot control. Those fields describe current rows. They do not supply a release date, release reason, destination, receiving agency, court number, or historical status.
No public archive or post-release visibility period was found. The sheriff also publishes no cadence for row additions or removals. Therefore, comparing a screenshot from one day with the current roster can reveal that a row changed, but cannot prove when or why the change occurred.
The embedded Phillips County roster shows the actual interface and current-custody fields:
The interface supports the records-request fallback. It cannot be searched backward across a weekend, and a missing row still requires release-or-transfer confirmation.
Phillips Three-Day Custody Paths
A three-day review can contain several kinds of endings. Treating all exits as the same would erase the most useful part of the record. The sheriff entry should identify the physical event; the next source depends on its code and destination.
- Bond release
- County detention ends while the case continues. Confirm with the sheriff entry and court bond docket.
- Time served
- A county term or jail-credit obligation ends. Pair the release entry with the judgment or sentencing record.
- Transfer
- Custody changes hands. Check KDOC, another jail, ICE, or the named receiving authority.
- Probation
- The person is in the community under a court or community-corrections order. Confirm the current order and supervising office.
- Discharge
- The sentence or supervision obligation reflected in the relevant record has ended. It is not the same as leaving the county jail on bond.
A person may also leave local custody after dismissal, acquittal, or another court order. The release label should follow the record, not an assumption drawn from roster timing.
For each entry in a reconstructed span, save the source, the time checked, and the exact wording of the status. “Inmate” in KASPER means state custody continues. Parole or postrelease means prison custody ended but KDOC authority continues. “Discharged” concerns the state sentence or supervision shown in that record. None of those labels should be copied onto a county booking without confirming that the records refer to the same person and case.
Municipal ordinance cases require one more distinction. Phillipsburg contracts with Phillips County for law enforcement, so physical jail custody still routes through the sheriff. The legal case, however, may belong in Phillipsburg Municipal Court rather than Phillips County District Court. Checking the correct court prevents a blank district-court result from being mistaken for proof that no case or release event exists.
